Our admissions requirements are the same for all trainees. We review applications for admission and scholarship decisions on a rolling basis, as long as space is available.

Training and practical experience leads to better job opportunities allowing Certified Flaggers to move on to other higher paying jobs in the construction industry. Traffic Troopers, Inc. contracts with some of the industries most credentialed utility, power and construction firms.
Construction Laborers and Helpers in 2017 averaged up to $33,450 per year / $16.08 per hour according to the U.S. Department of Labor.

Other Fees (Included in Tuition)
Application Fee | $50 | The Application Fee is non-refundable and applies toward students’ registration. This fee also includes payment for the exit examination. |
Administration Fee | $50 | This administration fee is non-refundable and applies toward student’s registration used to offset investigative costs associated with application review, criminal background check, driving record analysis etc. **note a criminal background does not exclude student from the program, however it is necessary when working on specific government contracts regarding Field Training Internships. |
Accident Insurance Fee | $75 | This insurance will cover TTI trainees for the costs of an accidental injury on campus and additional insurance (workers comp) requirements (GDOT) while participating in an approved Field Training Internship, OJT, IWT and CT programs. |
Blended Online Fee | $30 | Assessed on courses delivered 30-74% online. Funds are used to cover expenses incurred in delivering instruction and support to TTI students and to support the development of online courses and ongoing safety training for students. |
Activity Fee | $50 | The proceeds from the fees are used to purchase and maintain computers and copiers for the campus labs, purchase classroom supplies and equipment, provide technical support in the labs, to fund instructional cost and guest speakers as needed who will address topics of interest. |
